Try tu use a good quality coffee, for example 100% Arabica Lavazza or Illy. I dont exclude other brands but I insist on coffee composition Arabica vs Robust. Use a good quality grinder that will provide a very fine coffee powder. Pressing the coffee firmly against the taper there is no solid reason not to obtain a creamy espresso. BTW please check the boiler operating temperature by the amount of released steam or if you can measure the water temperature. It should be near the boiling point but not less than 90 Celsius.
I use for almost a year a cheaper Delonghi 12 Bar model with satisfactory results for Italian espresso, Americano and cappuccino.

Help, anyone know where I can get it. Brought mine back from Spain – box of 20 satchets and it’s the closest I’ve ever got to a decent espresso made at home. Nescafe coleccion intenso y cremoso – 100% puro arabica! Thanks in anticipation

Not the easiest software to use but the capture device works well. Good bang for the buck but be ready to spend a lot of time figuring out what is going on. As one person said “try this with low priced discs” and when you feel confident you can try the 8.5GB disc. You will burn a lot of coasters getting up to speed with this package. The software is not user friendly and support, well let’s just say I received the most help from reading the Roxio Q&A information. This actually saved me a lot of grief and my first install was right on the money

I absolutely love this coffee ( perhaps the habit instinct kicks in as well). However I just discovered that it is not listed in the product range on Nescafe website (nooo!). Have they stopped producing it?
